An Introduction to Economics

An Introduction to Economics introduces first-year students to the fundamental principles of micro- and macroeconomics. Its purpose is to provide students with the knowledge to understand and interpret basic economic decisions, functions and phenomena. The title introduces students to various microeconomic concepts, covers the relevant terminology, and explores the macroeconomic concepts in depth.
